GreenWave Paddling is a unique environmentally-themed paddling company designed, administered, and directed by American Canoe Association trained kayak instructor Bryan Mitchell.

Þ Eight years professional experience teaching paddlers of all abilities in all kinds of conditions

Þ Paddling motto:  Torso rotation, torso rotation, and more torso rotation!

Þ Favorite stroke to teach:  Forward stroke.  It may not be glamorous, but it is the most varied, intricate, and used stroke. 

Þ Favorite places to paddle in New Jersey:  Barnegat Bay (many paddling possibilities), Little Egg Inlet (great rough water/surf kayaking), Cedar Creek (pretty freshwater, river run), Crosswicks Creek (unique  freshwater tidal marshland off of the Delaware River)

Þ Profession when not teaching kayaking:  Elementary school teacher

Þ Father of four year-old twin boys and a brand new beautiful baby girl—now that’s a real adventure
